Tips for packing your dishes

Packing Dishes for you Tucson Move

Packing is a difficult part of the moving process but with these tips you can learn how to make it a little easier.

Its sounds easy when someone talks about packing dishes but there are actually a lot of different techniques that you can use to make sure that your dishes are packed correctly. First you need to assemble the box and set up a staging area close to where you will be packing. You can grab a chair to place the box on while you are packing and clean an area off of a counter top to wrap each dish.
Second you need to crumple up a couple pieces of news print and place them this adds cushion to the bottom of the box. You will need to add enough paper so that you can not see the bottom of the box and to give enough cushion for the dishes to be stacked.

Now you are ready to start packing. The first thing you will want to pack is plates wrap each plate individually with at least 3 sheets of newsprint than place the wrapped plate on its side in the box. Do this until the you have one layer complete. Use wadded up pieces of newsprint to fill in any spaces to make sure that the box is solid.

After filling in the spaces wad up more packing paper and make another layer of cushion. The top layer of the box is used for cups, spoons, salt shakers and other small stuff like that of course every piece should be wrapped individually. Before you seal the box make sure to use extra pieces of packing paper to fill in any unused space and to add one last layer of padding with your wadded up packing paper.

Seal the box and label it.

Your done!
